Housekeeper

Job Summary The Historic Sonora Inn and Hotel Lumberjack are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and public areas while providing excellent service to our guests. This role is essential to ensuring a positive guest experience. Responsibilities Clean and service guest rooms daily, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms Replenish guest room supplies such as towels, toiletries, and amenities Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and restrooms, as assigned Follow hotel standards for cleanliness, safety, and sanitation Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items promptly Respond courteously to guest requests and communicate effectively with the front desk and maintenance teams Properly use and store cleaning supplies and equipment Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures Qualifications Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and push for extended periods of time Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Availability to work weekends and holidays is a must as the hotel is open 365 days a year and these are some of our busiest days
