Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of living or working spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitizing to uphold cleanliness standards. Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items efficiently. Maintain floors through proper care techniques like sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor polishing to ensure a polished appearance. Ensure all areas are sanitized according to health guidelines, including bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to requests and addressing any special cleaning needs or preferences. Use janitorial and custodial equipment safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols. Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed, including inventory checks and coordinating cleaning schedules. Qualifications Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments; janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued. Familiarity with floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing. Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper cleaning procedures to ensure health safety. Ability to perform laundry duties efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude. Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality settings is a plus. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively; certifications in carpet cleaning or hotel housekeeping management are advantageous. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
