Housekeeper

Job Summary:

We are seeking reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our hotel team. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms, hallways, stairways, laundry areas, and public/common areas to ensure an excellent guest experience. This position requires frequent walking, lifting, and bending.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and guest supplies Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust guest rooms and hotel areas Clean bathrooms, mirrors, windows, and furniture Remove trash and dirty linens from guest rooms and common areas Maintain cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, lobby, breakfast area, and other public spaces Assist with hotel laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns to management Restock housekeeping carts and storage areas Follow hotel safety, cleanliness, and sanitation procedures Provide friendly and professional service to guests and coworkers Complete assigned tasks within scheduled shift times

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, pushing, and pulling Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds Ability to climb stairs multiple times per shift Comfortable working in a multi-story hotel without elevators

Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred, but not required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and punctuality Strong attention to detail Ability to follow instructions and hotel procedures Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed

Work Environment:

Fast-paced hotel environment Exposure to cleaning chemicals and laundry equipment Indoor work with frequent movement throughout the property

Schedule:

Full-time and part-time positions available Weekend and holiday availability may be required

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
