Housekeeper Job Overview Americas Best Value Inn & Suites is seeking a dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. In this important role, you will help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality throughout our 28-room hotel property. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas to hotel standards Sweep, mop, vacuum, and care for floors, carpets, and other surfaces Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock guest amenities and supplies Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens Sanitize high-touch surfaces and ensure all areas meet cleanliness and safety standards Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and housekeeping needs Monitor housekeeping inventory and notify management when supplies need restocking Properly handle cleaning equipment and chemicals while following all safety procedures Help maintain a positive, welcoming, and team-oriented work environment Qualifications Previous housekeeping, hotel cleaning, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and floor care Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Strong attention to detail and time management skills Friendly, professional attitude with excellent customer service skills Experience with laundry services and hotel housekeeping operations is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Housekeeping leadership or supervisory experience is beneficial but not required Why Join Our Team?
