Housekeeper

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at our brand new TownePlace & SpringHill Suites in Locust Grove. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for guests or residents, contributing to overall satisfaction and operational excellence. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Maintain cleanliness of floors through proper floor care techniques such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for guests or residents Follow established protocols for cleaning in hospitality settings or industrial environments to meet safety and quality standards Provide excellent customer service skills Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly to ensure timely repairs Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during cleaning procedures Experience Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles is preferred Hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable for understanding guest expectations and service standards Experience with floor care techniques and industrial cleaning processes is a plus Background in housekeeping management or supervisory roles can be advantageous for leadership opportunities Demonstrated ability to work independently with attention to detail and efficiency This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while developing valuable skills within the hospitality or custodial industry.
