Housekeeper- Full Time Days Parsons

Environmental services Environmental Services Labette Health is seeking dedicated and dependable Housekeepers to join our Environmental Services team. As a Housekeeper, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. Full time Day and Evening positions available.

Responsibilities:

Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, offices, and public areas according to hospital standards. Dust, mop, sweep, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces. Remove trash, linen, and infectious waste safely and appropriately. Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to supervisors. Follow all infection control and safety procedures. Provide excellent customer service and respond to room cleaning requests in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not required - we will train the right candidate. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Must be able to lift/carry up to 25 pounds and push carts up to 50 pounds. Attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to patient safety and infection prevention.
