Housekeeper / Guest Services Assistant

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeper / Guest Services Assistant to join our retreat center team. In this role, you will help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for guests while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the facility. Key Responsibilities Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, bunkhouses, and shared/common areas Prepare rooms and accommodations for guest arrivals Replace linens, towels, toiletries, and guest amenities Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas Assist with laundry, linen organization, and inventory management Restock housekeeping supplies and guest essentials Report maintenance, repair, or safety concerns promptly Assist with guest requests in a friendly and professional manner Support overall cleanliness, presentation, and operational standards across the facility Additional Responsibilities (Optional) Assist with the daily care of friendly farm animals, including feeding goats and rabbits and maintaining their animal enclosures Support general cleanliness and upkeep of animal enclosures as needed Requirements Experience in housekeeping, especially within hospitality or guest accommodation environments, is preferred Strong attention to detail and good time-management skills Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays when required Physically capable of performing cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout the shift Reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated Preferred Skills Experience in hospitality or guest services Laundry and linen-handling experience Ability to work independently and take initiative Strong communication and customer service skills What We Offer Supportive and welcoming team environment Opportunity to work in a unique retreat and hospitality setting Onsite training and ongoing support Meaningful work helping create a positive guest experience
