Job Description

Leasing Office, Clubhouse and other Amenities Removes trash in all offices, kitchen, restrooms and common areas. Vacuums offices, clubhouse and fitness center. Cleans all windows (inside and outside), mirrors and doors. Mops floors. Cleans and maintains kitchen. Cleans and polishes fitness equipment. Cleans restrooms and maintains supplies. Ensures laundry rooms are cleaned and maintained by 10:00 A.M. daily. Pool Area Removes trash and cleans ashtrays. Cleans skimmers. Removes leafs and debris. Cleans, maintains and straightens furniture. Parking Lot, Common Areas and Recreation Areas Removes trash and picks up cigarette waste. Removes trash and flyers from the mail center. Maintains area around lakes, tennis courts and other common areas. Keeps entrance and all walkways clean at all times. Checks lights and reports to Maintenance staff. Cleans light globes when needed. Keeps trash out of landscaping. Vacant Apartments Cleans vacant apartments, as prescribed by the Lead Maintenance Technician, Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager. Ensures that all vacancies are kept fresh and odorless. Works with Maintenance staff to complete make-readies in a timely manner. Additional Takes complete responsibility for equipment such as, tools, work belts, keys, pagers, uniforms, cell phones and walkie-talkies. Communicates immediately all maintenance/community challenges to the Community Manager. Completes tasks in compliance with Commerce Capital Partners, LLC policies and procedures. Works in a safe manner at all times, utilizing property safety equipment. Provides professionalism and attention to all matters of resident relations and resident retention. Keeps work areas neat and clean at all times, picking up after maintenance work is completed. Performs other duties as required by management. Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability The individual must posses the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities. Must be able to lift heavy equipment The ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail is required Ability to speak and understand the English language in order to communicate with others Prior experience in general maintenance. Ability to maintain a positive attitude and treat others with respect Ability to complete assigned duties in a timely manner Grooming All employees must maintain a professional, neat, clean and well-groomed appearance at all times.
