Starting at $20.00/hour About Us Located in the heart of the historic Amana Colonies, The Trail Inn is a charming 32-room motel dedicated to providing a comfortable, welcoming experience for our visitors. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Housekeeper and Laundry Attendant to join our team and help us maintain the highest standards of hospitality! About the Role In this role, you will be the backbone of our guest experience. By maintaining spotless guest rooms, pristine common areas, and managing our daily laundry services, you will directly contribute to the welcoming home-away-from-home environment our guests love.

What You'll Do:

Perform thorough, high-quality cleaning of guest rooms (dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing surfaces, and making beds). Manage daily laundry operations, ensuring all linens and towels are washed, folded, and properly stocked. Keep common areas, such as the lobby, hallways, and restrooms, fresh and inviting. Monitor inventory for cleaning supplies and linens, reporting shortages to management. Respond promptly and politely to guest requests for extra amenities or services. Follow established safety and sanitation protocols to uphold all health standards. Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure smooth, efficient daily operations.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or commercial cleaning is preferred (but we are willing to train the right person!). A strong eye for detail and a personal commitment to high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A friendly, approachable demeanor when interacting with guests and fellow staff. Ability to work both independently and as a reliable team player. Physical stamina to stand for long periods, bend, and lift moderate weights (such as laundry baskets and cleaning supplies).
