Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Launder linens and towels as required, ensuring they are clean and properly stored. Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing various types of flooring. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Follow established housekeeping management procedures to ensure consistency in cleaning standards. Assist with commercial cleaning tasks as needed to support overall facility cleanliness. Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively. Qualifications Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred but not required. Familiarity with residential cleaning practices and hotel housekeeping standards is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize areas that require additional cleaning or maintenance. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients or guests. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of proper sanitation practices and safety procedures related to cleaning tasks is beneficial. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if necessary.
