Housekeeping and Laundry Aide

Part-Time Housekeeping & Laundry Aide (Day Shift) Allure of Walnut is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our Housekeeping & Laundry Team . In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff while supporting daily housekeeping and laundry operations. Schedule Day Shift Part-Time Responsibilities Follow daily housekeeping and cleaning schedules Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and facility equipment Sweep, mop, dust, strip, wax, and buff floors as needed Clean fixtures, ledges, heating/cooling units, and other surfaces Collect and dispose of trash properly Coordinate housekeeping duties with nursing staff when working in resident areas Follow safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment Mix cleaning solutions and disinfectants according to instructions Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly Maintain resident confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and supplies Team-oriented with a positive and respectful attitude Willingness to work with residents compassionately and professionally Physical Requirements Ability to move throughout the facility during the workday Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 pounds Ability to handle the physical and emotional demands of the position Why Join Allure of Walnut?
