Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at the Days Inn location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This role requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards. Handle laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. Manage floor care by using appropriate techniques for different surfaces. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues promptly. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests professionally. Assist with kitchen duties as needed, including cooking simple meals or preparing snacks. Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. Experience Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred; hotel experience is a plus. Familiarity with carpet cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous. Strong understanding of housekeeping management practices and sanitation standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently to complete tasks.
