  • Assist the executive housekeeping manager with leading the housekeeping department.
  • Inspecting rooms cleanliness, making sure that guest amenities are stocked, aligning furniture, etc.
  • Assisting housekeepers with room linens.
  • Making sure that supplies are readily available to housekeepers.
  • Leading the housekeeping department on the days that the executive housekeeping manager takes off.
  • Assigning room tasks to housekeepers.
  • Assist in cleaning rooms, when needed. Housekeeping duties will include but are not limited to the following tasks:
  • Clean corridors, lobbies, stairways, elevators and lounges as well as guest rooms
  • Distribute linen, towels and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand
  • Restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies
  • Replace dirty linens with clean items
  • Check all appliances in rooms are in working order
  • Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
  • Respond to guest queries and requests
  • Respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses
  • Organize and restock cart at the end of the shift
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms
  • Follow all company safety and security procedures
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
  • Observe and report damage of hotel property Experience and skill requirements:
  • Hotel experience preferred.
  • Strong organization skills and great attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively deal with staff.
  • A friendly attitude for a hospitality environment.
  • Ability to stand and move throughout front office and continuously perform essential job functions.
  • Ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
  • Flexible hours a must.
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
