Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and pressing machines to clean linens, towels, and guest clothing efficiently. Sort, inspect, and prepare laundry items for cleaning, ensuring quality standards are met. Handle delicate items with care, including dry cleaning processes when necessary. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and ensure all equipment is functioning properly through routine checks. Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and laundry machinery. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and guest items. Assist with general cleaning duties within the laundry area to uphold hygiene standards. Experience Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and dry cleaning machines is advantageous. Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures related to chemical handling.
