Visit us at www.depalmahotels.com Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and service-focused Housekeeping Supervisor to help lead our housekeeping team. This role is responsible for supporting daily housekeeping operations, inspecting guest rooms and public areas, assisting with room readiness, and helping ensure the hotel consistently delivers a clean, comfortable, and guest-ready experience. The Housekeeping Supervisor plays an important role in the overall success of the hotel by helping drive quality, productivity, training, and team accountability. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in hotel presentation, leads by example, communicates well with team members, and understands how much housekeeping quality impacts the guest experience. Responsibilities Support the day-to-day operation of the housekeeping department, including room attendants, housepersons, and laundry support as applicable Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and brand standards are consistently met Help assign boards, monitor room status, and support timely room readiness for arrivals Train, coach, and support housekeeping associates on quality, service, and safety standards Assist with daily productivity management and help maintain department organization throughout the shift Coordinate closely with front office, maintenance, and hotel leadership to support guest needs and room readiness Respond promptly and professionally to housekeeping-related guest requests or service issues Report maintenance concerns, safety issues, and room deficiencies clearly and timely Help maintain housekeeping carts, linen rooms, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces in an organized condition Support compliance with Marriott brand standards, company policies, and hotel cleanliness procedures Assist with inventory control for linens, guest room supplies, and cleaning products Step in to support room cleaning or housekeeping operations as needed based on business levels Qualifications Required Previous housekeeping, hotel housekeeping, room inspector, or housekeeping leadership experience Strong understanding of guest room cleaning standards, inspections, and housekeeping operations Ability to lead by example and maintain quality in a fast-paced hotel environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays as needed Reliable attendance, professional communication, and strong follow-through Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and support physical hotel operations as needed Preferred Previous experience as a housekeeping supervisor, room inspector, lead housekeeper, or similar hotel role Marriott brand experience or familiarity with branded hotel housekeeping standards Experience with room inspections, productivity oversight, and daily housekeeping coordination Laundry or public area oversight experience Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus Schedule Flexible schedule based on business needs Day shift Weekends and holidays as needed Job Type Full-time Pay Starting at $20.00 per hour and up based on experience Benefits Eligible associates may be offered: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company contribution Paid time off Holiday pay Marriott travel discounts and perks Growth and advancement opportunities with an established hotel management company Join Our Team This is a great opportunity for a hospitality professional who takes pride in cleanliness, organization, team support, and delivering a strong guest experience.
