Housekeeping Supervisor's Assistant (part of Hilton) 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 103 Ed Perry Boulevard, Oxford, MS 38655 Full-time Hampton Inn Conference Center 10,821 reviews Full-time A Second Assistant Housekeeper Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Executive Housekeeper in supervising and maintaining designated areas of the hotel as well as responding to guest requests as well as assisting any department in the hotel as deemed necessary in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. We are seeking an experienced Second Assistant Housekeeper Supervisor to assist the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing and managing the housekeeping operations at Hampton Inn Conference Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry.
Duties:
Enforce procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Assist in training housekeeping staff. Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure that they meet cleanliness standards. Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction. Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally. Ensure policies and procedures as well as brand standards are adhered to as estiblished by hotel.
Experience:
Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, custodial practices, floor care, and sanitation standards. Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Occasionally clean a housekeeping board.
Job Requirements:
Dependability, customer focus, and adaptability. Housekeeping experience preferred. Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and other personal. Must be proficient in English. Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours). Work schedule varies and will include working weekends as well as some holidays.
