Duties Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, restrooms, patient rooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Sanitize high-touch surfaces regularly to uphold health and safety standards in accordance with OSHA guidelines Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, or carpet cleaning as needed for optimal appearance and safety Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and other consumables to ensure continuous availability Follow established sanitation protocols to prevent contamination and promote environmental health Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures in compliance with environmental services standards Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly Skills Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to workplace safety and sanitation practices Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within healthcare or commercial environments Familiarity with environmental services procedures for maintaining hygiene standards in sensitive settings like hospitals or clinics Skilled in various floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet extraction Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, vacuums, and steam cleaners safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed cleaning schedules and protocols Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues effectively Join us in creating a pristine environment where safety meets excellence!
