Housekeeping Worker

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of hygiene and presentation. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Maintain cleanliness in both commercial and residential settings, adhering to specific cleaning protocols. Handle floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, and waxing as needed. Assist with custodial duties, including waste disposal and restroom maintenance. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness standards are met. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations and high levels of customer satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus. Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance. Experience in residential painting or industrial cleaning is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties for extended periods while lifting and moving objects as necessary.
