Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Ensure all surfaces are sanitized according to established protocols, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, buffing, or carpet cleaning to ensure spotless and safe walking surfaces Restock supplies such as towels, soap, paper products, and other amenities to ensure availability for staff and visitors Follow OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines to promote a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues Handle waste disposal responsibly by emptying trash bins and adhering to sanitation procedures Assist with special environmental services projects or deep cleaning tasks as needed to uphold cleanliness standards Skills Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial cleaning or healthcare settings such as hospitals or clinics Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to cleaning and sanitation practices Strong understanding of environmental services procedures to maintain hygienic environments Experience with floor care techniques including stripping, sealing, waxing, or carpet extraction Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions accurately Join us in creating pristine environments that promote health and comfort!
