Manual Machinist

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual machines such as lathes and mills to produce precision parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
• Use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accurate dimensions
• Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
• Make adjustments to machines as needed for proper operation
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

• Proficiency in operating manual machines such as lathes, mills & vertical grinders
• Solid understanding of blueprint reading and interpretation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision measurements using micrometers
