Job Description

We are seeking talented professionals with an eye for detail and a desire to join and amazing team As a Housekeeper, you will fill a vital role in ensuring guest satisfaction through cleanliness and guest room hotel services for each guest. You will be focused on optimizing each guest's experience by providing a spotlessly clean hotel guest room, facilities and outlets and providing incredibly friendly guest service to every guest. Laundry Responsible for the collection, washing, drying, folding and distribution of residents/patients clothes and linen.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold and return residents/patients clothes. Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold and return to designated areas all facility linens. Label all resident/patients clothes. Maintain clean and neat work area. Conforms to all safety and fire regulations. Reports to Director of Environmental Services or Facility Director all defective or damaged fixtures and properties. Ensures safe operation and prescribed care of machinery (maintaining equipment in good operable condition to include cleaning lint traps) and judicious use of all detergents.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear, and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Works in clean, well-lighted, heated and ventilated building (rooms and corridors). The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and in outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
The ideal candidate will:
Love the look and smell of clean, be detail oriented, preferably with facility cleaning experience. Be incredibly friendly, love to smile and have FUN in a team environment. Clean and service assigned guest rooms in a timely and organized manner according to procedures and standards. Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Reports appropriate complaints or requests to appropriate department. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintains linen cart and supplies neat and organized to department standards. Maintains security of equipment, keys and supplies issued each day. Reports lost and found articles to supervisor. Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. must be able to start at Work at 9 am until rooms are completed
