Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure surfaces are pristine and safe Follow established protocols for environmental services and infection control to uphold health standards Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and disinfectants to ensure availability at all times Adhere to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines to promote a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention and report maintenance issues promptly Utilize janitorial equipment efficiently while maintaining proper safety procedures for sanitation and environmental compliance Requirements Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred; experience in healthcare or hospitality settings is a plus Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to cleaning and sanitation practices Familiarity with environmental services procedures and hospital or commercial cleaning protocols Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and reaching for extended periods Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of floor care techniques such as stripping, waxing, polishing, and carpet extraction is desirable Join us in creating clean, safe spaces that make a difference every day!
