Part-time Job Summary:

The Houseman/House Person at Residence Inn by Marriott plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the hotel?s public areas and supporting the housekeeping team. This position ensures guests experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of all public areas including lobby, hallways, elevators, fitness center, laundry rooms, and restrooms
• Assist housekeeping staff by delivering linens, towels, cribs, rollaway beds, and guest-requested items promptly
• Stock and organize housekeeping closets and storage areas on each floor
• Remove trash, debris, and recyclables from guest floors and service areas
• Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly, professional manner in line with Marriott\'s service standards
• Assist with room inspections and report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
• Support laundry operations as needed, including transporting linens to and from laundry areas
• Help set up meeting rooms or common areas when required
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is used properly and stored safely
• Follow all Marriott brand standards, safety procedures, and OSHA guidelines

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
