HR Assistant

Job Description Position:

HR/Safety Assistant Reports to: HR and SafetyManager Duties/Responsibilities Assist Human Resource and Safety Manager Perform administrative duties relating to HR and Safety Prepare production reports Administer PPE Ensure appropriate and required training is complete and properly documented for all associates Build teamwork and maintain positive morale Assist with Employee recognition and rewards programs All other duties as assigned by your supervisor Requirements and Qualifications Proficiency with Microsoft office and internet Ability to keep internal and external employee information confidential Flexible, detail oriented and ability to multi-task Demonstrates reliability, dependability, attendance and good work ethics Bilingual in English and Spanish Physical Requirements • Could have periods of prolonged sitting Teamwork Consistently work in a positive and cooperative manner with fellow associates Productivity/Efficiency Consistently demonstrate ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet future needs Adherence to system and Departmental Policies demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all policies and Procedures Education 5 years on the job experience in an HR manufacturing environment Knowledge of Labor laws, OSHA standards and regulations, and worker's compensation laws Physical demands/working conditions Intermittent physical activity including bending, reaching, and Prolonged periods of sitting Associate may be asked to work at different facilities and or different Positions transportation is not provided Associate may be scheduled based upon production needs (rotate shift, 1st or 2nd shift, split shift) Associate may be asked to work extended periods of time. This position is in a factory and could involve exposure to dust, odors, oil, fumes, noise and a hot or cold environment.
