PM Summary:
Provides human resources consultation and support to a designated member organization(s) by implementing Human Resources programs and acting as the local HR contact for Human Resources Centers of Excellence. This position contributes to the development of workforce plans and understands external customer trends and issues in the industry that could potentially impact business. Provides guidance to convert strategies into result driven actions. Utilizes knowledge of various human resources functions to provide tactical support to line managers. Acts as liaison with other HR functions. Provides change management support as needed.
Responsibilities:
Supports managers with employee performance and behavior issues; coaches managers; ensures appropriate documentation and fairness. Interprets and provides guidance to managers and staff on human resources policies and procedures. In organizations with represented employees, interprets and guides managers on the collective bargaining agreement and memorandums of agreement. Designs, conducts and evaluates new-employee orientations with system on-boarding and location content. Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees. Maintains employee Human Resources files and performs audits for completeness. Monitors, approves according to delegated authority and audits automated personnel actions. Participates in special projects by developing and organizing information to fulfill transactions. Conducts complex investigations into employee relations matters, union matters (where applicable), discrimination or harassment complaints, or other identified concern and issues concise and thorough reports on the same. May be called to testify to the substance of the investigation as the investigator. Serves as liaison to HR Centers of Excellence and as a resource for trouble shooting issues. Maintains and exhibits a current knowledge of profession and participates in continuing education. Maintain a safe environment complying with Northern Light Health policies and procedures; report and directly address environmental hazards and violations of patient safety policy and/or protocol when involved or observed. May perform other duties upon request.
Other Information:
Education and Experience:
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), PHR or other approved license/certification. Bachelor's Degree. Two plus years working experience as an HRBP. Competencies and Skills 2+ years of relative work experience required. Behaves with
