Job Description:
A confidential manufacturing company is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team. As an HR Professional, you will be critical in supporting the company's human resources functions. This role requires a solid foundation in HR principles, knowledge of employment laws, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service to employees and leaders. Address inquiries related to HR policies and procedures. Create positive experiences for employees and develop close partnerships with managers and employees. Assist managers with full cycle recruiting. Maintain knowledge of state and federal employment laws to ensure the company meets legal requirements and government reporting regulations. Maintain confidentiality and high ethical standards and handle sensitive employee information. Participate in employee onboarding, training, succession planning, and development initiatives. Conduct exit interviews, investigate and document workplace and employee relations issues, and coach managers and employees through issue resolution. Maintain the HRIS system and run reports to understand trends and best practices in HR.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. HR certification is preferred. At least 3+ years of experience in HR administration, preferably in a manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office, and other HR-related software.
