This role isn't about "just compliance" - it's about people, culture and being a go-to partner for employees and supervisors.

What You'll Own:

Be the first HR face employees and leaders come to for guidance, coaching and problem-solving. Support recruiting and new-hire onboarding to ensure a welcoming start for every employee. Coordinate employee relations matters professionally, confidentially and fairly. Maintain accurate HRIS data and ensure compliance with FMLA, leave policies and employment laws. Partner with leaders to support performance reviews, training needs and employee development. Support employee engagement initiatives, retention programs and recognition efforts. Help keep policies updated and communicated in a clear, human way. This position is on-site at our Garrett, IN plant.

What You Bring:

Experience in human resources, ideally within manufacturing or a fast-paced environment. A reputation for being approachable, trustworthy and level-headed — someone employees and leaders feel comfortable coming to. Working knowledge of employment law, FMLA and HR policy administration. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail. Familiarity with HRIS systems (Workday experience is a plus, but not required). 3-5 HR Generalist experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
