A Closer Look at the Role Lynk Engineers is looking for an organized, people-focused, and adaptable HR Operations & Onboarding Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a positive employee experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to grow within Human Resources and operations. You'll work closely with leadership and play an important role in onboarding new employees, supporting HR operations, coordinating internal communications, and helping maintain a strong company culture across our offices. We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable balancing both administrative responsibilities and people interaction. The ideal candidate brings a warm, professional presence, works well with a team, communicates thoughtfully, and is open to feedback and continuous growth. What You'll Do Coordinate onboarding for new hires, including offer documentation, background checks, orientation scheduling, and employee setup Partner with hiring managers, IT, and operations teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience Maintain employee records and assist with HR administrative processes Support benefits administration, employee communications, and internal HR initiatives Create internal communications, employee announcements, flyers, and event materials Help support company culture initiatives, team events, and employee engagement efforts Track onboarding tasks, compliance documentation, and HR reporting needs Provide friendly, responsive support to employees and new hires What We're Looking For Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Warm, professional communication style and positive attitude Ability to work closely with leadership and collaborate across teams Quick learner who adapts well in a growing environment Receptive to feedback and willing to learn new processes and systems Strong sense of professionalism and confidentiality Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented Eager to learn and grow professionally Preferred Skills & Experience Experience in HR, onboarding, office administration, or operations support preferred Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Word Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools is a big plus Familiarity with HRIS systems, ADP, or Deltek Vantagepoint is helpful but not required Experience supporting employee events, communications, or company culture initiatives is a plus Additional Requirements Must be able to work in-office full time (on-site first 6 months, with hybrid flexibility after) Reliable transportation required Why Lynk Engineers At Lynk Engineers, we value collaboration, growth, adaptability, and a strong team culture.
