Full-time HR Operations Supervisor Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Supervisor to join our team at Homewatch CareGivers of St. Cloud. As a critical member of our operations team, you will oversee day-to-day human resources operations, partner with program leadership on staffing and scheduling needs, and foster a positive, compliant, and supportive employee experience. Responsibilities:
Oversee core HR functions including employee records, HR systems, documentation, and policy administration Serve as the primary HR contact for office staff and field-based caregivers, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of employee information Support internal and external audits related to HR, licensing, or compliance Manage full-cycle recruiting for caregivers, support staff, and office roles, partnering with leadership to plan staffing based on client care needs Coordinate background checks, credential verification, and onboarding documentation, leading onboarding and orientation to ensure successful employee integration Address employee relations issues including attendance, performance, and conduct, supporting managers with coaching and corrective action documentation Promote employee morale, recognition initiatives, and engagement efforts Administer employee benefits programs and serve as liaison with vendors, coordinating employee leaves including FMLA, Minnesota Paid Leave, and ESST Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, maintaining working knowledge of wage and hour laws, caregiver overtime, and on-call considerations Assist Program Manager with scheduling as needed to meet client care requirements as a secondary assignment, supporting coverage planning, callouts, and on-call rotations Manage resignations, terminations, and exit interviews, ensuring proper final pay, benefits continuation, and documentation Supervise and support the Office Administrator, ensuring efficient administrative workflows that support both office and field staff
Requirements:
Relevant HR, operations, or workforce management experience High proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office, HRIS, scheduling, and payroll systems, with the ability to quickly learn new platforms Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Strong discretion, empathy, and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, or Healthcare related field Supervisory or lead experience Familiarity with Minnesota labor and leave laws
