HSE Coordinator / Safety Specialist

We are looking for an HSE Coordinator / Safety Specialist located in Broussard, LA. Professional Safety Solutions is a fast growing company that helps manage Safety, Quality and DOT compliance. We work closely with management in small to medium size companies to help develop, oversee, and track their compliance. This is a unique role that includes many different tasks due to the fact that we service multiple clients in multiple industries. We are a small company that is growing fast. Looking for someone who can work in a fast-paced environment and is detail oriented. Examples of job tasks include creating safety meeting PowerPoints, incident case management and documentation, revising safety policies, managing databases (ISN, Veriforce, DISA), conducting safety meetings, conducting facility audits, etc. Qualifications 3 years of experience in HSE Experience creating safety programs, policies, and safety meeting materials. Experience with incident reporting, investigation, and case management. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working with databases and online platforms (ISN, Veriforce, DISA, or similar compliance systems preferred). Strong written and verbal communication skills and professional client-facing demeanor. Ability to work 40 hours per week. Must be able to pass a background check.
