Job Description

Posting May 2026 Start Date June 1, 2026 Division Human Resources Position Number FY26/03 Supervision Received Director of Human Resources General Responsibilities This is a part-time temporary position anticipated to work up to 18 hours per week for the period of June 1, 2026 through August 30, 2026. This position is not benefits-eligible. The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources and Payroll/Benefits departments. This role ensures efficient operations and compliance with institutional, state, and federal requirements.
Responsibilities :
Handle confidential information in compliance with Academy policy, state, and federal law. Update, maintain, and audit employee data in HRIS system and document management system. Scan, organize, and file employee records and documents to maintain accurate and accessible files. Process part-time employee contracts and onboarding and ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion. Process background checks and perform Form I-9 verifications. Provide support for systems upgrades and implementations and process improvements. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements Associate's degree or higher level of education. 1 year of related work experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. Preferred Qualifications Prior work experience in an educational setting. Salary $25/hour How to Apply To Apply, please provide a resume.
