  • Agoura Hills, CA (Contract-to-Hire, Full-Time) About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful HR Generalist to support both talent acquisition and day-to-day employee experience initiatives within a growing, fast-paced organization.
This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys supporting employees across the full HR lifecycle. With a strong focus on recruiting, onboarding, and employee support, you will partner closely with hiring managers and the HR team to attract top talent, deliver seamless onboarding experiences, and provide timely, accurate guidance on HR-related inquiries. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential to convert to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Partner with hiring managers to manage full-cycle recruiting, including job intake, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer facilitation Guide candidates through the hiring process to ensure a positive experience Coordinate and deliver structured onboarding programs to ensure new hire success and engagement Employee Relations & Support Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions related to benefits, policies, procedures, and HR systems Provide timely and accurate resolutions to HR inquiries, escalating when appropriate Support employee relations matters by documenting concerns and assisting in investigations as needed HR Operations & Compliance Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Support HR audits and documentation requirements Assist with administering and communicating company policies and procedures Benefits & HR Administration Respond to employee benefits inquiries and assist with enrollments, changes, and issue resolution Partner with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth benefits administration Performance & Engagement Support performance management processes, including reviews and employee feedback cycles Assist in the development and execution of employee engagement initiatives and programs Contribute to building a positive, inclusive workplace culture General HR Support Assist with offboarding processes, including exit interviews and final documentation Support HR projects and initiatives as needed Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance employee experience Qualifications 3-5 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or similar role Strong experience with recruiting, onboarding, and HR helpdesk-style support Solid knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels Experience handling a wide range of HR inquiries and providing practical solutions Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc.) Experience with HRIS systems (Ceridian Dayforce preferred, but not required) Why Join Opportunity to grow into a permanent role Collaborative and supportive HR team environment Exposure to a broad range of HR functions Competitive hourly pay All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
