We cater logistics strategies and processes to our customers' needs by utilizing the latest information systems and advanced technologies. Summary The Human Resources Generalist supports daily HR operations by administering employee records, benefits, leave management, compliance processes, employee relations, and performance management initiatives. This role serves as a key resource for employees and leadership, ensuring accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and a positive, productive work environment. Responsibilities Primary Maintain and update HRIS records for personnel, benefits, compensation, and employment status changes while ensuring accurate, compliant documentation. Generate reports, maintain employee files, and support HR audits and compliance initiatives. Administer wellness and auto allowance programs, including eligibility verification, documentation tracking, and quarterly audits. Assist with benefit renewals and open enrollment processes. Process and track FMLA, ADA, and other leave requests; ensure required documentation, compliance, and return-to-work clearance. Support annual performance reviews and compensation adjustments related to Tier and Grade increases. Review DAF forms for accuracy, obtain approvals, and enter finalized documentation into HR Acuity. Conduct employee one-on-ones and department visits to address concerns, foster engagement, and support positive employee relations. Provide guidance to employees and supervisors regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns. Ensure on-boarding and off-boarding documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant. Audit employee pay rates, wellness attendance, and allowance records; report discrepancies as needed. Process payroll in the absence of the Senior HR Generalist. Secondary Perform general administrative duties, including answering phones, processing mail, operating office equipment, and securing confidential materials. Support HR projects, meetings, and company functions as assigned by the HR Manager. Education & Experience HS Diploma/G.E.D. Required 1-2 years direct experience Bachelor's Degree Preferred 2-5 years direct experience Skills Knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and wage/hour compliance Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Working and Environmental Conditions Operating desk machines Computer, Telephone, Copier Precise Manual Dexterity Writing, Typing Physical Requirements Stand/Walk occasionally Sit constantly Drive seldom/never Bend/Stoop seldom/never The information contained herein is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities of the job, nor is it intended to be an all-inclusive list of skills and abilities required to do the job.
