NHUC is currently seeking a Human Resource Intern to assist the Human Resources team with a wide range of projects related to HR recruiting, compliance, and records management. The Intern observes and works with the Human Resources staff to gain knowledge in the Human Resources field and also performs assigned work for the Human Resources department. Performs other duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities Scans and files Human Resources documentation related to employee files, new hire and termination information, timesheets, garnishments, FMLA and Worker's Compensation as needed. Verifies and files proper documentation for I-9's. Assists with recruiting and onboarding. Assists the HR staff with assigned tasks and projects. Do You Have What It Takes? A good candidate will bring with them: High School Diploma or equivalent Currently pursing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related program from an accredited university Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software Advanced ability in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, and Excel Strong attention to detail to allow completion of tasks accurately Strong verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment. powered by
