Job Description

About the Role Seeking an experienced, hands-on Manager of Human Resources to lead people operations across the company. This role owns recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, benefits, compliance, and culture initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-centered, and comfortable operating both strategically and in the day-to-day details. This is a high-impact role working closely with leadership to support growth, operational excellence, and a strong company culture.
What You'll Do:
People & Recruiting Lead full-cycle recruiting across departments Post jobs, review resumes, coordinate interviews, and manage candidate communications Partner with hiring managers to drive efficient, high-quality hiring Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Manage onboarding from the offer letter through the first day and ramp-up Coordinate internal setup, payroll, and benefits enrollment Manage offboarding, terminations, and exit interviews when needed Employee Relations & Compliance Handle employee relations, performance issues, and disciplinary actions Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Maintain and update the employee handbook and HR policies Payroll & Timekeeping Manage ADP employee records and payroll processing (weekly and bi-weekly) Oversee timekeeping systems, PTO tracking, and payroll compliance Maintain payroll records, including garnishments and employee verifications Prepare monthly reports on headcount, overtime, and compensation Benefits & Workers' Compensation Administer employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, FSA, transit, 401k) Manage workers' compensation claims and benefits compliance Serve as the primary contact for benefits-related employee questions Culture & Engagement Coordinate company and management events, including holiday parties Produce a monthly internal newsletter and support engagement initiatives What We're Looking For 7+ years of HR experience, including payroll and benefits administration Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance Experience managing ADP and timekeeping systems Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-through skills Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us High-ownership role with real impact Partner closely with leadership Opportunity to build scalable HR systems Collaborative, growth-oriented environment
