All candidates must be local to the Los Angeles area. This position is fully in person in office role. Must have minimum of 10 years + Human Resource experience. Duties include but are not limited to Hands-on Executive HR leadership and business partnership Talent acquisition and retention Successful mediating conflicts and grievances Performance management and leadership development Compensation, benefits, and payroll oversight Multi-state employment law and tax compliance Onboarding and offboarding Develop and support employee training, relations and culture building Develop and support positive company working culture / environment Participate and plan company events and employment engagement activities M&A integration and change management Vendor and PEO management (especially G&A Partners) Payroll controls, audits, and financial collaboration Able interact with all levels and the company and related businesses Able to constantly keep up to date on laws, regulations, and standards Special projects and other duties as needed Skills and requirements include: Bachelor's degree (master's degree or HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR is a plus) 10 years + Human Resource experience (including Payroll, Compensation, benefits and recruiting) Vice President HR level experience Entertainment, media, talent agency, or management experience Experience supporting rapid company growth Extensive knowledge of California and multi-state employment laws, tax laws and compliance regulations Experience working with executive leadership and boards and 3rd Party benefit suppliers Effective negotiating skills Superior verbal and written communication skills Able to interact with all levels of the company Positive attitude
