Job Description

Chief Engineer StudioRes Lakewood Ranch 6645 Professional Pkwy, Lakewood Ranch, FL 34240 $40,000 - $45,000 a year $40,000 - $45,000 a year We are looking for a skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operations of our facility maintenance team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the functionality, safety, and efficiency of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As a key contributor to our operations team, the Chief Engineer plays a critical role in maintaining brand standards and regulatory compliance while driving high-quality performance across all maintenance functions.
Compensation:
$40,000 - $45,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Evaluate building systems to determine necessary maintenance, repairs, or upgrades. Plan, coordinate, and oversee maintenance projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion. Serve as the primary liaison with brand partners to ensure compliance with evolving brand standards. Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff, fostering a culture of accountability and growth. Lead and manage all aspects of the maintenance department, ensuring consistent quality, safety, and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Proficient with Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking or work order systems. Proven leadership and team management skills, including hiring, training, and performance oversight. Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to resolve complex maintenance issues. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
