Job Description

Job Summary:
The Director of People & Culture is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership in shaping and elevating our human resources function, and the company's organizational effectiveness. Responsibilities include serving in the role of HR Business Partner to the CEO, Founder, and executive team. Objectives of the
Role:
Develop and execute the short and long-term People & Culture strategy. Strengthen and support the employee experience, including initiatives to drive employee engagement and employee satisfaction. Provide strategic insight, guidance and leadership in developing the company as an industry leader and best place to work. Promote, cultivate and develop a culture of ownership throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee HR operations and administrative staff recruiting, including supervisory responsibilities for HR personnel. Partner with the Director of Recruitment to develop talent acquisition strategies, ensuring a high degree of collaboration on related systems and processes. Partner with the executive team, and partners to develop and execute strategic administrative talent acquisition; along with retention, and reward and recognition initiatives for all personnel. Develop and lead remote, multi-state and local workforce planning strategy. Provide executive and employee communications to support internal and external strategic objectives. Direct onboarding and orientation processes, ensuring the new employee experience reinforces the company's core values. Oversee benefits strategy and administration, including annual open enrollment, vendor and broker coordination, and preparation of all required benefits census data and reporting. Lead learning and development strategy by maximizing technology and partnering with executive and clinical leaders, clinicians, and staff to conduct needs assessments, create learning journeys, and develop curriculum plans. Ensure accurate administration and development of policies and procedures regarding Family Medical Leave, Worker's Compensation and other discretionary benefits, with a focus on organizational compliance (federal, state and local), and employee experience. Direct development of, and updates to HR policies and procedures, including Drug free Workplace program, and employee handbook. Lead employee relations and conflict resolution efforts, including the development of related policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws, timely filing and response to related changes and external inquiries. Provide data-informed insights, for the purpose of providing competitive human capital analysis on trends and best practices. Serve as subject matter expert on the implementation and use of HR-related technologies to support company policy and/or regulatory requirements, including but not limited to artificial intelligence, website and intranet applications and similar. Direct and ensure an effective culture committee.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent communication, time management, and project management skills. Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HCM, HRIS, LMS, and similar systems. Preferred HR Certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, HRCI or similar). Experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Direct experience supporting C-suite teams. Healthcare industry experience.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business, or related field. 10+ years of progressive HR experience.
Pay:
$140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
