The Newell Group is partnering with a dynamic and patient‑focused prosthetics and orthotics practice in Rockford, IL, to identify a dedicated Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO) or Certified Orthotist/LO who is also experienced in practice leadership and management. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician‑leader who wants to blend hands‑on patient care with operational oversight and strategic growth. About the Role As the Practice Manager and clinician, you will wear two hats:
Clinical Lead:
Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care for prosthetic and orthotic patients across the lifespan, including assessments, custom device prescription, fitting, follow‑up care, and adjustments.
Practice Leader:
Oversee daily clinic operations, mentor team members, support scheduling and workflow efficiency, improve patient satisfaction, and collaborate with referring healthcare partners. This role is ideal for an experienced prosthetics and orthotics professional who thrives in both clinical and leadership settings and is passionate about growing a local clinic that transforms lives through advanced rehabilitation solutions. What You'll Do Provide expert evaluation, fabrication oversight, fitting and follow‑up care for prosthetic and orthotic patients. Lead clinical and administrative staff, ensuring excellent patient experiences and efficient operations. Support business development and local outreach to strengthen referral relationships. Manage inventory, compliance, documentation and quality initiatives. Foster a positive team culture and support professional growth. What We're Looking For Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO) or Certified Orthotist / Licensed Orthotic Practitioner (LO) in good standing. Strong clinical expertise with lower and upper limb prosthetics and orthotics. Leadership experience and a desire to drive operational excellence. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for patient‑centered care and collaborative teamwork.
