Job Description

Position Description You will serve as the Senior NTWL Chief Technology Officer for flight test engineering and associated technologies in development, experimentation and evaluation of next-generation aircraft and mission systems within the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division. Position Duties/Responsibilities You will develop a broad-scope Test and Evaluation strategy aligning with DoW, Navy, and NAWCAD mission. Holistically address workforce development and utilization, alongside infrastructure and equipment revitalization and recapitalization. You will apply a disciplined framework utilizing research, collaboration, and a technical needs forecast to address Test and Evaluation related Fleet capability gaps, program needs and Science and Technology objectives. You will serve as Technical expert in the fields of aircraft and mission systems test and evaluation engineering, and test strategy. You will identify critical science and technology and research and development needs that include ASuW, sensor fusion, EW, Capabilities Based Test and Evaluation, Electro-Optics/Infrared Systems and advanced weapon systems development and test. You will participate in the development, justification, execution, and review of investment proposals to address identified requirements/gaps/needs. Minimum Salary 197200 Maximum Salary 209600
