Five (5) years' professional experience in McAfee Trellix / HBSS EPO administration and management having performed activities regarding the strategic planning, scheduling, implementation, and maintenance of HBSS-servers for an organization. Experience should include work with Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), preferably with McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS), McAfee Data Loss Prevention Endpoint (DLP), and/or McAfee product policy tuning. Hands on hands-on experience expected for the role:
  • Strong hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Trellix ePO in a production environment.
  • Ability to create and modify queries, dashboards, policies, client tasks, and system tree assignments.
  • Experience deploying and managing Trellix point products such as Agent, ENS, DLP, and other endpoint modules.
  • Ability to troubleshoot agent communication issues beyond basic reinstall steps, including reviewing logs, validating connectivity, and coordinating with network or server teams when needed.
  • Practical understanding of product check-in, wake-up calls, tagging, task assignment, policy enforcement, and compliance validation.
  • Ability to clearly explain what each Trellix product does and how it is managed through ePO.
  • Experience supporting the platform from both the console and operational troubleshooting perspective, not just using it for compliance visibility.
