This is a hybrid interim executive opportunity offering a combination of onsite collaboration and remote flexibility.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Interim Vice President of Human Resources will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, providing strategic direction and hands-on leadership across the organization's HR function. This executive will step into a highly visible role focused on strengthening HR operations, advancing key initiatives, building organizational accountability, and developing scalable people practices. The ideal leader will combine executive-level strategic thinking with a highly action-oriented approach and the ability to quickly build credibility across a complex organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for the HR function while serving as a trusted adviser to senior leadership and employees. Develop and execute HR strategies and an actionable operating plan aligned with organizational priorities, advancing critical initiatives that require immediate traction. Lead organizational development, recruiting and staffing, employee relations, employment compliance, performance management, compensation, benefits, and other core HR functions. Own, evaluate, and strengthen comprehensive compensation strategies and programs while leveraging HR data and analytics to support executive decision-making. Accelerate performance management and recruiting processes while identifying organizational challenges, strengthening accountability, and supporting employee engagement and productivity. Lead and develop the internal HR team, manage external partners, strengthen HR infrastructure, and guide the organization effectively through periods of change.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience operating successfully as a VP-level or comparable executive HR leader , with the executive presence and credibility to advise senior leadership and take ownership from day one. Broad HR leadership expertise spanning compensation strategy, performance management, employee relations, organizational development, recruiting, compliance, and change management. Demonstrated success leading within complex, fast-paced, evolving, or multifaceted organizations . Strategic yet highly hands-on leadership style with a track record of driving initiatives forward, establishing accountability, navigating change, and translating strategy into execution. Strong mission alignment, emotional intelligence, decisiveness, independence, and relationship-building skills; ADP familiarity and a master's degree are preferred but not required .
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This interim position offers a competitive pay rate of $120-$140 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications. The role offers a hybrid work environment, flexibility within the organization's standard business hours, and the opportunity to make an immediate executive-level impact. Some regional travel is anticipated. This is an interim assignment, and while the selected individual may participate in the permanent search process, conversion to permanent employment is not guaranteed.
