We're partnering with a well-established Alaska-based trust organization that manages health, pension, and welfare benefits for members across the state. This organization is known for its accuracy, integrity, and commitment to providing exceptional service to Alaska's workforce.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Contributions Representative, you'll play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of employer contributions for trust fund participants. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a high level of accuracy when working with financial data. You'll act as a liaison between employers, payroll departments, and internal teams—helping ensure everything runs smoothly and remains compliant. Review, reconcile, and process monthly employer contribution reports Communicate with employers to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting Maintain participant records, verifying hours worked and eligibility Assist with audits, reporting, and contribution summaries Coordinate with internal teams to ensure proper posting and processing of payments Provide support to employers and members regarding contribution-related questions Identify and support process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency
REQUIREMENTS
2 years of experience in accounting, payroll, benefits administration, or a related field preferred Strong math, analytical, and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Ability to understand and apply contribution policies and guidelines Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
