The Payroll and Benefits Specialist at EHDOC is responsible for managing and administering the company's payroll systems and employee benefits programs. This role ensures that all employees are compensated accurately and timely, while also overseeing the implementation and maintenance of benefits packages that align with company policies and legal requirements.Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage the company's payroll system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits. Maintain and update employee records related to payroll and benefits, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. Collaborate with HR and finance departments to resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues. Provide guidance and support to employees regarding payroll and benefits inquiries. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to payroll and benefits administration. Prepare and distribute payroll reports and benefits statements to management as required. Assist in the development and implementation of new payroll and benefits policies and procedures.Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Required Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and benefits administration. Proven track record of managing employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans. Experience with HRIS and payroll software systems, such as ADP or Workday.Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate payroll processing. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Effective communication skills for liaising with employees and management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.Similar remote jobs
