Contingent upon contract award Axyde Analytics, LLC is seeking Survivor Benefits and Entitlements Specialists for an anticipated U.S. Army Casualty Administrative Support Services contract at Fort Knox. The specialist will support accurate and compassionate administration of military survivor benefits and related casualty-case requirements.Responsibilities:
Review survivor eligibility and benefits documentation. Research death gratuity, life insurance, survivor benefits, burial, travel and related entitlements. Track benefit actions, missing documents and unresolved issues. Coordinate with authorized Army, DFAS, VA and other Government stakeholders. Prepare clear case notes, correspondence and status updates. Identify discrepancies requiring Government determination. Support quality review before cases are closed or transitioned. Handle all family information with discretion and sensitivity.Preferred qualifications:
Experience with military survivor benefits, casualty assistance, retirement benefits, veterans' benefits or personnel administration. Familiarity with DFAS, VA and military benefits processes. Experience assisting surviving families or other vulnerable populations. Strong research, documentation and customer-service skills. DCIPS, CMAOD or Casualty Assistance Officer experience is highly desirable. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain the required background investigation and Common Access Card. This position is contingent upon contract award. Final duties, compensation, qualifications and start date will depend upon the resulting solicitation and award.
