Job Description

Are you naturally curious, detail-oriented, and driven to uncover connections others might miss? Join our dynamic team as a Conflicts Analyst Assistant, where your research skills and analytical mindset will help safeguard the integrity of our global legal operations. As the foundation of our department, you'll collaborate with stakeholders across the globe, providing exceptional service while conducting in-depth research on corporate structures and affiliations. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to international business and legal frameworks while contributing to a high-impact team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct corporate and conflicts database research to identify potential conflicts of interest for new clients, business, and firm new joiners to include lateral partner and counsel candidates Maintain and update the firm's conflicts of interest database Research corporate histories and affiliations of clients and related parties Respond to internal requests for conflict searches from attorneys and business services staff Support the resolution and clearance of conflicts issues alongside managers and analysts Assist with a variety of research projects and administrative tasks Contribute to ongoing process improvements Participate in the firm's global Responsible Business program
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Strong analytical skills and a natural curiosity to understand the "why" Excellent written and verbal communication Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills Self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred Prior experience in customer service or internship setting preferred Demonstrated experience with database or academic research
WORK HOURS
Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., with one hour for lunch Flexibility for overtime as needed Join us in Louisville, KY, and be part of a team that values precision, collaboration, and continuous learning.
