Pay Rate:
$49.16-$50.00/per hour based on years of experience Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a Part-time Evening Substance Use Disorder Peer Recovery Specialist to join our team at Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center located in Baltimore , Maryland. Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Peer Recovery Specialist (PRS) employees support patients in their substance use and detoxification/ recovery process. They also lead recovery groups, build community and relationships. Shift- part-time days 16 hours per week High School diploma or equivalent Certification as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) required One year or more of experience working closely with patients and connecting them to resources or an equivalent combination of work and education Experience working in corrections preferred Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including: Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off Paid holidays Flexible Spending Account Continuing Education benefits Much more... #INDMHM
