Job Requirements Under general supervision, this role provides analytical and operational support for the administration of the organization's compensation programs and processes. This role is responsible for administering and supporting compensation programs by managing pay programs, jobs and pay structures in the HRIS system, participating in surveys and facilitating market data in market tool, supporting case management, and providing support to the organization to ensure compliance with labor laws and ensures the accuracy and integrity of compensation data. Primary Responsibilities

  • Supports the Compensation team by reviewing case management and assigning cases. Watches for trends and training opportunities. May support job offer reviews and compensation cases that are less complex and less time consuming.
  • Supports equity and market adjustment analysis and study of years of experience to provide cost and guidance on pay adjustment studies. Reviews salary administration problems/concerns such as internal equity issues and provides recommendations.
  • Provides HRIS support and is the liaison with the HRIS and IS&T departments.

Responsible for the accurate administration of job codes, years of experience, pay ranges/grades and other relevant compensation-related information. Partners with the HRIS team to load accurate compensation files. Validates compensation files for accuracy. Coordinates the activities related to compensation projects and flow into the HRIS system.

  • Administers and completes salary survey questionnaires. Responsible for survey completion tracking and payment. Vendor relations connection for support questions, upgrades, and training.
  • Provides support to Compensation Market tools. Maintains the database with survey information and team member data. Provides reports as needed. May assist in job market pricing.
  • Maintains centralized Job Description database. May help edit and clarify job descriptions. Is the contact for job description inquiries.
  • Responsible for supporting Compensation tools and technology. Key resource for testing functionality and influencing design. May administer compensation tools. Generates reports and ad hoc requests as requested.
  • Administers and implements compensation programs outlined in union contracts. Partners with Human Resource Professionals on accuracy of files and implementation/timing of files.
  • Participates and supports Compensation projects. May lead less complex projects.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned. Work Experience Education & Experience - Required
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Human Resources or 4 years equivalent experience
  • Two (2) years' Human Resources experience
  • Knowledge of Compensation principles and practices Education & Experience - Preferred
  • Expert-level Excel skills, including advanced formula logic
  • Demonstrated experience auditing and validating compensation data with a high degree of accuracy in a regulated and complex healthcare environment
  • HRIS database support experience preferred.
