Job Description

A confidential employer in the Greensboro area is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join their HR team in a directhire capacity. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate payroll processing and effective benefits administration while supporting employees with payroll- and benefitsrelated questions. Key Responsibilities Process weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees Manage employee deductions, garnishments, taxes, and benefit contributions Administer benefits programs including enrollments, changes, and terminations Reconcile payroll and benefits invoices; resolve discrepancies as needed Maintain accurate employee records within payroll and HRIS systems Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll/benefits regulations Support yearend activities including W2s, audits, and reporting Serve as a point of contact for employee payroll and benefits inquiries Qualifications 2+ years of handson payroll processing experience Prior experience supporting employee benefits administration Working knowledge of payroll laws and compliance requirements Experience with payroll systems (ADP or similar preferred) Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines Professional communication skills and discretion with confidential data Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office tools Why This Role Directhire opportunity with longterm stability Established organization with a collaborative HR team Opportunity to own payroll and benefits processes endtoend Competitive compensation and benefits package
Pay Details:
