Position Summary Works independently, to provide support to lead service colleagues, by following established workflows and procedures on client deliverables and services. Has substantial understanding of the job and applies company policies and producers to complete ALL Primary Activities. Contributes to a wide variety of activities supporting the design, financing, delivery, ongoing management, and communications of group benefits programs for EB clients. This position works both independently and on client teams in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with competing priorities. Primary Responsibilities Contribute to employee benefits strategy and the renewal/marketing process through gathering vendor/client information, preparing RFPs, inputting, tracking, and analyzing benchmarking data, providing value-added analysis and summaries, etc. Coordination and support of Form 5500 filing with vendor including client setup and data gathering Support carrier and vendor implementation, including policy checking, paperwork submittal, and coordinating final enrollment submission. Build and update fully insured financial dashboard, where applicable. Draft and edit client deliverables such as strategy and stewardship decks/reports. May be responsible for the preparation of monthly billing invoice for self-billed clients and tracking payments; auditing/reconciling monthly invoices to ensure billing accuracy for all clients Coordinate Benefits Administration technology implementation and annual configuration with technology team, including information gathering and system testing. Prepare, edit and /or proof open enrollment materials and presentations, coordinate and deliver enrollment presentations and or answer employee questions, etc. Resolve claims or administrative issues on behalf of client and escalate claims issues by identifying where plan provisions were misapplied. Research and resolve client revenue variances for accuracy. Maintain and update BenefitPoint for all client and policy data files/documents Take on local office champion, super user, or liaison responsibility. Position Specific Skills/Qualifications Highly Proficient Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities BenefitPoint, Perfect Quote and World EB workflows. World EB SBU value proposition by segmentation, the applicable EB templates and standardized client service deliverables. EB carriers and group insurance products, carrier portals, as well as ability to work within World EB tools, systems, and templates, applying knowledge to larger more complex clients. Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly Proficient in Microsoft environment, including but not limited to Word, Excel and Power Point. Can analyze data using advance formulas, create charts and graphs, and use templates and design elements effectively. People Management No leading and managing at this level, but may coach, mentor and or train more junior colleagues. Professional Licenses/Certifications Life and Health license and/or obtains within first 90 days of hire. Education Associate or bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent work experience would be considered Compensation This position is based in New Jersey. The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $71,800 to $89,700. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility, and qualifications. Physical Demands Office work involves working at a desk most of the time, using a stand-up/sit-down adjustable desk. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Typing, grasping, and repetitive motion typically is required every day, and walking and standing are required occasionally.
